WHY ADDITIONAL NEEDS FAMILIES?

At ELI Project we are relational, real, relevant, and passionate. Because of the many obstacles and uncertainties Additional Needs families face, we endeavour to bring them hope by providing a safe environment where the parents and siblings can freely interact with one another.

No matter your race, belief, age, ability or need...Every Life’s Important.

ELI PROJECT is making a difference!

We're Todd & Stephanie Presley

The Presley’s have 4 children including one with Down Syndrome, Autism, and a heart defect. In 2009 they saw a need to create an environment where families with additional needs could come together for support and connection. They started meeting up with other parents of additional needs children on a regular basis for the sake of socializing and support. From this small beginning, ELI Project was birthed.

Todd and Stephanie Presley have over 25 years’ experience in Christian ministry, as well as organizing and overseeing events that serve the local community.

I spent 17 years working in the social care sector in various capacities from volunteer to social worker with complex, profound and multiple learning disabilities in the United Kingdom.

Without prior experience in the sector I felt a need to first volunteer; it was at my first induction at a home in South London that a question arose deep within my heart - "How can I take this back to Kenya?".

In a moment I was transported as if a veil had been lifted and I saw the desperate need for such services in Kenya; a neighbour my relative in fact neglected, sat all day in the dust or ashes - no interaction with the outside world.  Not knowing at the time that I was answering the call of God on my life,  the question turned to a burning quest and a compass that governed all I needed to learn to enable my return to bring hope to the hopeless and a voice to the voiceless in Kenya.

We're Trevor & Miriam Clowers

Hi! We are Trevor and Miriam Clowers and this is a little bit about us. We moved to Wales from the USA to partner with Todd and Stephanie Presley in 2022. Together, we are the events coordinators for both Family Night and The Hangout. We had been looking for an opportunity to serve in a local community where there was a great need and ELI Project fit like a glove!

We both grew up as kids of missionaries. Trevor grew up in the Caribbean and Latin America and Miriam grew up in London. Trevor has a background in multiple handy skills as well as working with kids with autism in North Carolina, Miriam has experience in hospitality and event planning.

The Clowers love creating a place where people can feel at home and safe. Our heart is to see people feel welcomed, loved, and have a sense of belonging.
